    โ€˜Uisce Beathaโ€™ in Irish
    โ€˜The Water of Lifeโ€™

      Indeed the water of life,
I was not sure whether it was “Uisce Beatha” or “Uisge Beatha”, I found both of them in internet dictionaries… But you as an Irishmen will probably know for sure, so I’ve changed the title ;)…
As whisky is the Anglicisation of this magnificent word I wanted the original(s) in the title.
Thanks for your comment, correction and visit…

Iโ€™m no expert, but Uisge Beatha appears to be Scottish gaelic. I think you may have to change the title again!

for what I found Uisce Beatha / Uisge Beatha is the irish gaellic and Usquebaugh should be the scottish Gaellic. Damn I would love to be able to speak Gaellic :D… Unfortunately it’s a bit to difficult :D…

I’ll keep the title, as long as it doesn’t affect the taste of the whisky, no harm done

You’re completely right – Usquebaugh is the scottish Gaellic that phonetically became “usky” and later on “whisky” in English ๐Ÿ˜‰ (y)
And I like this picture – I almost smell and taste the whisky

Hahahaha of course you drunk it up ๐Ÿ˜‰
